Association Between Level of Sleep Quality and Demographic Variables among Older Persons in Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) Selangor

Introduction: Sleep is a natural resting period in order to recuperate after daily exhaustion. Good sleep essential for both physical and mental health. This paper was aimed identify the association between level of quality demographic data among older persons Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) Selangor. Methods: A cross sectional study conducted using socio-demographic profiles self-report questionnaire by Pittsburgh Quality Index (PSQI). total 180 people aged 65 years above seven Selangor were recruited this study. Results: found that 67.8% (122) indicate poor quality. Majority has duration seven-hour which 35.6%. there significant difference gender (p = 0.008), weight 0.028), working status 0.017) education 0.044). Conclusion: PAWE poor. Occupational therapy interventions will be beneficial providing activity overcome occupational deprivation nurturing good hygiene.
